We are an independent travel guide and do not process bookings or payments. Our role is to provide reliable, up-to-date information and recommendations. For accommodation and transport bookings, we suggest visiting the official websites of hotels, airlines, and the Hungarian railway operator MaV-START.
How often is the guide content updated?
We review and update our city guides regularly to ensure accuracy. Opening hours, prices, and travel conditions can change, so we recommend checking official sources for the most current details before your trip. Each article displays its most recent update date at the top.

Is Hungary safe for solo travellers?
Hungary is generally a very safe destination for solo travellers. Budapest, Debrecen, and Eger all have low crime rates compared to many European cities. Standard travel precautions apply: be aware of your belongings in crowded tourist areas, use licensed taxis, and keep copies of important documents. Public transport is reliable and well-connected even in the evening hours.
